AmaWaterways Enchanting Rhine River Cruise

I had the opportunity to cruise the Rhine river this month on the AmaCello – one of the ships owned by AmaWaterways.  River cruising is such a great and easy way to see different cities in Europe while only having to pack and unpack once!  The price of the cruise includes all your tours, so from the moment you get on board everything is taken care of for you.

The ship only holds 148 passengers so you get to know the staff quickly. Most staterooms feature French balconies and range in size from 170-255 sq. ft. Enjoy all the amenities of a fine hotel: plush down bedding, marble appointed bathrooms, large closets, complimentary high-speed Internet access and first-run Hollywood movies. Enjoy additional complimentary amenities such as wi-fi, a specialty coffee station and a fleet of bicycles. We sailed out of Basel Switzerland to the Black Forest region in Germany, then to the medieval town of Strasbourg in France, also stopping at the university town of Heidelberg and ending in Amsterdam where we had a chance to visit the Floriade which only takes place every ten years and contains horticultural exhibits.
