The coronavirus devastated economies and disrupted our lives in ways we could never have imagined. The year 2020 in travel was an especially challenging year for the travel industry. Professional travel advisors canceled more trips, lost thousands of dollars in income, and travel-related disruptions were unprecedented worldwide due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
