Andavo Travel just finished hosting our annual convention for our network of advisors, called AndavoMart. As our network grows, so does the attendance at AndavoMart, and once again we had record attendance – this time 109 total attendees.
Saturday was a full day! After breakfast, we spent all morning in educational presentations. Matt Cameron, COO of Andavo Travel, provided training on AirPortal, some of Andavo’s proprietary technology. Then David Kolner and Kristi Green of Virtuoso presented to the group about the future of travel advisors. Lastly, we heard from Dr. Alison Miller, Ph.D on enhancing our professional presence. There were rave reviews all around for the morning’s speakers.
After a lunch on the gorgeous Arroyo Terrace with 46 of the world’s leading luxury travel suppliers, we spent the afternoon at a Vendor Fair. Each of our 63 travel advisors had one-on-one 4-minute appointments with all of the vendors – speed-dating style!
Saturday night we had the chance to enjoy dinner at the exclusive Evans Garage, a private vintage automobile museum in La Jolla.
AndavoMart 2015 finished on Sunday morning with a site inspection at the Hotel del Coronado, followed by their grand Sunday brunch. Grand was an understatement!
We enjoyed getting the Andavo family together, putting faces to names, and renewing old friendships. We missed those unable to join us and hope to see everyone again next year!
