I have just returned from yet another visit to beautiful Grand Cayman. This was my ninth trip to the island, and my third time staying at the Westin Grand Cayman. This property just completed a $50 million renovation and the resort looks lovely. The updates to the lobby, pool area, coffee bar, and rooms have truly taken the resort to another level. The service was also spot on. We stayed in a ground floor oceanfront room that was just steps from the surf and offered breathtaking views.

While on the island, we chartered a boat for our group through Don Foster’s Dive. We spent a wonderful afternoon swimming with stingrays and snorkeling the reef. This was our fifth experience with Don Foster’s and they never disappoint. I highly recommend them for snorkeling, diving, and even scuba certification.

Some of our group traveled out to the Salt Caves and really enjoyed that outing.

There are so many great restaurants on the island to enjoy. Two of my top recommendations for food are Casanova in Georgetown for authentic Italian food, and Calypso Grill for fresh seafood and the famous Toffee Sticky Pudding.
