The Ritz London is presenting a sumptuous five-course menu prepared by Executive chef John Williams and will be paired with exceptional Champagnes from Perrier-Jouët, including the iconic prestige cuvee ‘Belle Epoque’.
This year marks the bicentenary of the House of Champagne Perrier-Jouët, which has been producing boutique wines of unparalleled elegance and finesse since 1811. The legendary consistency of its signature style, shaped by the exceptional quality of its Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes, stems from the guardianship of just seven Cellar Masters in two centuries. The Ritz London will be delighted therefore to be able to present a champagne dinner at the Ritz, together with the House of Perrier-Jouët, to sample the world’s best vintage champagne by the side of a grand master. In honor of the bicentenary of this legendary House, the Hotel’s Executive chef John Williams has created a mouth-watering five-course menu.
The Champagne Perrier-Jouët dinner (£195 per person) will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 in the magnificent 18th century surroundings of William Kent House, commencing with a Champagne and canapé reception in the Marie Antoinette Suite and followed by dinner in The Music Room
Mr. Hervé Deschamps, Cellar Master and guardian of the Perrier-Jouët house style, will be on hand to advise how best to appreciate the differing styles of the Champagnes which promises a unique and memorable dining experience.
