As a Disney Earmarked travel agency, we’re in the know on all things Disney. And as someone who vacationed in Scotland last year, I was doubly excited to hear (via a Jaunted article) about the new Adventures by Disney itinerary in Scotland.
This expedition was inspired by the Disney-Pixar film “Brave”. Travelers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of Brave. On this 9-day, 8-night trip, guests will visit Edinburgh, the Isle of Skye, the Isle of Lewis and Inverness in Scotland, just as Merida does in the upcoming film.
The highlights of the trip include “The Black Arnol House,” Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, Dunnottar Castle, a canoe expedition in search of the Loch Ness monster, traditional highland games like tug-o-war, lessons in scone-baking, horseback riding in the Caledonian Forest, archery, and a bike ride through ancient battle sites at Rothiemurchus, a privately-owned Highland estate.
The first Brave adventure will take place Mar 24, 2013 – Apr 1, 2013. The cost for adults is $5,149 and for kids the rate is $4,889.
