Luxury Hotel Review: The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

I recently had the opportunity to spend several nights at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. This hotel is a Vancouver landmark with its European architecture, copper roof and gargoyles that make it instantly recognizable. It is located in the heart of the city, convenient to Vancouver’s business district (the Convention and Exhibition Center) and entertainment center (shopping and dining on Robson Street, the waterfront and many historic districts).  This location is perfect for the business or leisure traveler.

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is lovely, with an Italian-marble lobby, frescoes, beautiful chandeliers, spacious guest rooms and amazing bedding. All of the rooms offer high-speed internet access, in-room business amenities, flat panel televisions, mini bars and coffee makers. I stayed on the Fairmont Gold Floor (the concierge-secured level) which includes private check in, breakfast every morning, and afternoon appetizers. I cannot say enough about the Fairmont Gold personnel at the Hotel Fairmont Vancouver, so kind and attentive.

Hotel amenities include:  business center, state of the art fitness center, indoor swimming pool, and the Absolute Spa for all your pampering needs. The hotel offers a bistro café, Griffins, and the 900 West Lounge offering high tea and jazz performances in the evening.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Fairmont Vancouver, it is a gorgeous and charming hotel. The reception staff was very welcoming, and the concierges helped us with tour reservations to Capilani and Grouse Mountain, also with dinner reservations, they are efficient and professional.

I had a marvelous time in Vancouver, it is one of my favorite cities. Vancouver BC Canada is a great getaway, I suggest you treat yourself and stay at the Hotel Fairmont Vancouver!

Tip:  sign up for Fairmont Presidents Club, a complimentary recognition program.  When you stay at Fairmont hotels you will receive private check in, free internet, welcome amenity, and more…
