The staff really takes the time to make sure travelers of all ages are making memories. The “Very Important Kid” wristband given to my children posed danger as it guarantees free ice cream at anytime during your stay – wow!
The most memorable room amenity was the cookie-decorating display. After our second pool day, we walked in to see a full set-up of all the trimmings to ice and decorate our own cookies. A platter of plain sugar cookies, four icing colors ready to be spread, and a selection of sprinkles, gummies, and chocolate to top off the designs. I was just as excited as my kids to get my hands sticky!
The property completed a multi-phase renovation in 2016 which brought improvements to its 450 guest rooms, the new Lightkeepers restaurant (try the sliders at happy hour!) and redesigned lobby. The room improvements are stunning! Included photos are of our one bedroom executive suite, that includes 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath, with balcony and partial ocean view, separate living room with pullout sofa. 800 sq ft.
