Luxury Hotel Review: W Doha Hotel & Residences, Qatar

When visiting a city I want to explore, it is important to be in a safe area, close to the sights and staying in a hotel with all the amenities.

I recently was fortunate to stay at the W Doha Hotel & Residences and it lived up to its brand within the Starwood family. It is trendy and chic, located in the bustling city center and had extremely comfortable signature W beds.

The staff, from arrival to departure, seemed eager to please and enjoyed their jobs. The Cool Corner Suite (as it is called) offered views of the Arabian Gulf in each of the corners’ directions and was a wonderful upgrade, along with breakfast daily and access to the WIP lounge. The wonderful breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, including cooked-to-order eggs among other choices. We did not leave hungry.

The room amenities included a 46″ LCD TV, complimentary WIFI and water, safe, minibar, velour robes, slippers, rain glass shower and fabulous bath amenities. Within the 700 square feet and the floor to ceiling windows you had views from all directions. Of course, the morning newspaper was on our door, also.

The city of Doha lies before you with lots to explore, but I should mention you won’t really want to get out of that BED!
