Luxury Hotels Review: Hotel Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos and Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa Resort

After returning from Cabo San Lucas I am excited to share my reviews on accommodations. The first is the legendary hotel, Hotel Sandos Finisterra.  To travelers that do not want to stay right on the marina the hotel is just a 10 minute walk.  You get the best of both worlds with this property: marina views on one side, beach and pool views from the other.  This updated, traditional hotel has a great history.

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones got married here!  The disco is a tribute to the band with British highlights.

With its heritage it reminds me of the hotels of years ago with immaculate grounds and pools. There are no swimmable beaches here on the Pacific side.

The hotel is perched in the hills above Cabo San Lucas so it is not for people that have trouble with stairs. However, the climb up a few stairs is worth the view from the Whale Watch lounge.  Whale migration happens between January and March.

The entry level junior suites are large with balconies that are well appointed but nothing fancy.  They have updated and modernized their luxury casitas with exceptional amenities.

If you decide to stay at Hotel Sandos Finisterra you are in for a great staff and your all-inclusive stay includes four restaurants and seven bars. Also available are wedding planners and spa services.

Traveling over to the Pacific side through a private gated community is the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa Resort.

This adults-only, all-inclusive resort is located on a beautiful 2.5 mile long stretch of Pacific side beach though it is not swimmable.

This modern zen like resort offers golf privileges at the nearby private golf course and an award-winning spa retreat that truly will speak to those seeking quiet luxury.

Gourmet a la carte dining is featured in five restaurants, five bars and two pools.  Two new “tower” rooms for the true gourmet, feature butler service and special, unique chef tasting dining options.

For those seeking quiet luxury (no pool side noise or activities here), delicious gourmet, ultimate spa and perhaps a challenging round of golf this is the resort for you.
