Behind on my reading, I just finished reading great article in Conde Nast Magazine (Oct.) by Wendy Perrin regarding packing for travel. I think she peeked in my suitcase before she wrote this article or great minds pack alike! Read the Perrin Report for great hints.

  • One hint I would add to hers, depending on destination, is a small umbrella which can double for rain or sun when touring. It takes little space and serves multiple purposes (even snow).
  • Another of my favorites is a “flat” purse or bag to use for dinner or shopping, taking almost no space in your carry on bag.
