I visited Paris, the “City of Lights,” in May. What a great city! I found it very easy to get around by using a Metro and Museum pass, which I highly recommend purchasing before you arrive in France. It was well worth it.

Paris Pass

  • Choice of 2, 4 or 6-consecutive day passes
  • Unlimited travel in Zones 1-3 using the Metro, RER, bus, tramway, SNCF Transilien suburban trains, Montmartre funicular railway, Montmartrobus, Noctilien and Optile network buses.
  • This pass gives you priority admission and free access to 50 museums, castles, gardens, cathedrals and monuments in and around Paris, at no extra charge.
  • Free Information Guide and map of the city.

With the unfavorable exchange rates from US Dollars to Euros, anything you can pre-pay before you travel is a plus.
