On a recent business trip to Toronto I had the opportunity to visit the Shangri-La Hotel. This property is quickly becoming a hot spot for locals. The hotel lobby lounge is welcoming and has a warm, homey feel. They call it an “urban living room.”
Hotel rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, allowing the room to be filled with wonderful sunlight during the day, and glorious views of the city at night.
They even designed the bathrooms with windows to let outside light to come in. Just remember to lower the blinds when you want a little privacy.
The hotel is centrally located in the Theatre District and has many boutiques and cafes within close walking distance. Or, the concierge desk offers the option of hotel cars, ready to take you to luxury boutiques within minutes.
If you’re in Toronto and looking for a luxury hotel experience, keep the Shangri-La Hotel in mind. If you book through an Andavo Travel advisor, you will also receive a $100CAD food and beverage credit so you can take advantage of tapas and evening entertainment in the Shangri-La’s “urban living room” lobby lounge.
