With a private Egyptologist accompanying you, you will see the splendors of Ancient Egypt in Cairo, along the Nile River, and in Abu Simbel. For four days you’ll sail from Luxor to Aswan aboard the elegantly appointed Alexander the Great yacht, stopping along the way. Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Cairo, transfer to your hotel overlooking the Nile, Four Seasons Nile Plaza.
Day 2-3
See Pharaonic Cairo and the pyramid complexes of Giza and Saqqara with private guide. Visit the Egyptian Museum, including a tour of the Mummy room, Four Seasons Nile Plaza.
Day 4
Fly to Luxor. Afternoon visit the Luxor Museum and attend the Sound & Light Show at Karnak temple this evening. Your hotel is the newly renovated Hilton Luxor Resort, located directly on the Nile River, with unobstructed views of the West Bank.
Day 5
Board your Nile cruiser. Tour of the Luxor and Karnak temples. Dinner on board followed by a belly dance show. Overnight in Luxor, Alexander the Great Nile Yacht.
Day 6
Visit the West Bank and its Valley of Kings and Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Luxor Temple. Overnight in Esna, Alexander the Great Nile Yacht.
Day 7
Late morning disembark and visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Lunch on board and this afternoon visit the temple of Kom Ombo, Alexander the Great Nile Yacht.
Day 8
This morning visit the High Dam, the granite quarries and the Temple of Philae. After lunch on board you will sail on the Nile by felucca, Alexander the Great Nile Yacht.
Day 9
Disembark and fly south to Abu Simbel and a tour of the famous Temples of Ramses II. Fly back to Cairo, Four Seasons at Nile Plaza.
Day 10
Tour of the highlights of Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Afternoon at leisure, Four Seasons at Nile Plaza.
Day 11
Farewell to Egypt.
