Tulip Time in Amsterdam

I have traveled to Europe several times.  One of my most fond memories is visiting during Tulip Time in Amsterdam.  I actually showed up in Amsterdam in the end of April not really aware of what was going on – yes, me a travel agent!  We arrived at our hotel, and saw advertising on the reception desk for tours to the Keukenhof Gardens outside the city.  We signed up and the next day got on the tour bus that passed fields and fields, mile after mile of multi-colored tulips.  An amazing sight awaited us when we arrived at the gardens.  Even non-gardening people like myself will never forget that breathtaking sight.
