Virtuoso Travel Mart Photo Wrap-up

As I mentioned in a , a group of our Andavo travel advisors headed to Las Vegas from August 14-19 to the largest luxury travel show in the world, Virtuoso’s Travel Mart, to see what’s new in travel.  Picture it as a week of one-on-one speed dating with the best travel suppliers in the world! Its the most amazing networking event, and we look forward to it every year.

As always, the event was held at the Bellagio and my room’s view did not disappoint!

For four days, we met with hundreds of travel suppliers to get better educated on all the luxury offerings throughout the world.  These 4-minute speed-dating appointments are intense, but fun.  Look at this ballroom full of travel knowledge.

Each night of the week provides networking and relationship-building opportunities via various travel supplier-hosted dinners, cocktail parties, etc.  And of course, Virtuoso’s gala dinner and awards ceremony to finish off the week was amazing.

One of Andavo Travel’s affiliates, Kay Merrill, received the distinguished award for “Most Admired Advisor in the U.S./Canada” for 2011, as voted on by the Virtuoso network of members/suppliers! As she could not be in attendance, Mike Cameron, Andavo’s president, accepted the award on her behalf.
